The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii) $12.99 In the beginning, god(s) created a bunch of stuff, and people. Eventually one of those people created the NES, and it was good. Then, Shigeru Miyamoto and co. created The Legend of Zelda, and suddenly it was even better! Now, nearly 20 years later the latest instalment in the seminal franchise arrives to coincide with Nintendo's newest console. The game once again has you following a story of a stoic guy named Link as he saves a once great land from dark things of some sort. Link is sent to bear a gift to the royal family of Hyrule, but things just aren't going his way, and before he can leave, tragedy strikes the village. He's yanked into a twilight gloom that has covered Hyrule. When he enters that strange and otherworldly realm, he transforms into a wolf and is quickly captured. Things aren't looking too cracking for our hero. Fortunately, a mysterious figure named Midna helps him break free (the game wouldn't be up to much if you spent the entire time stuck in prison, would it?). With the aid of her magic, they set off to free the land from the shadows. Twilight Princess is a game of epic proportions. This is demonstrated fairly early on when you are charged with travelling through four different areas to collect stolen tears of light in order to push the invading twilight out of each area. These tasks seem to span all of the known world, but later on in the game it becomes clear that there is a great deal more map than originally assumed. To sum up: this game is big - very big. Then of course, there is the Wii Remote and its effect on the game. It might take a bit of getting used to. After all, we have had close to two decades playing Zelda with an old-fashioned control pad. After a little time playing, however, waving your Wii remote around to attack becomes second nature and really adds to the experience. Then, of course, you've got various side pursuits like fishing to really show the many uses for the control system. This is Nintendo's big Wii offering to those of us who don't need converting to gaming, and it promises to pull out the stops and show us what the system's capable of. |

How To Mod A Wii
How to mod a Wii is a question with many possible answers. With so many website claiming to mod Wii, it becomes very confusing to find a legitimate website which provides quality information about how to mod a wii. In this article we will acquaint you with all the methods for unlocking wii and we will also tell you which ones are outdated and which one is the best way to mod Wii.
I will start with the oldest method to mod a wii. But I should warn you first that this is not a safe method and voids your warranty. There are better methods which are safe and much easier than this one. So you can skip this point and move on to the 3rd method to learn the easiest way. I am just informing you of all the possible methods that you can use, but what I recommend is method no. 3 as it is the best. But, in case you choose some other method to mod a wii, you should know the perils associated with it.
1. You can buy a mod chip online or at a retail store which has mod chips for Wii. Once you get the mod chip, you need to open your Nintendo Wii and take out the main chipset. On the main chipset you will have to solder the mod chip at a certain position to mod it. This method voids your warranty and should not be used unless you are living in the year 2007. Because back then there were no softmods available and this was the only option. If someone advices you to use a modchip he/she is also probably living in 2007.
2. You can buy or rent a game of Zelda: twilight princess and use it to install a software called homebrew on your Wii. You need to run the game and use a glitch in the game to trick the Wii into installing the software. This doesn’t work on v4.0+ and is certainly not the best way to mod a Wii. 3. You can get an easy to use guide to help you unlock the game without any modification to the hardware and without any game. The guides work for all the versions of Wii, from 3.0 to 4.2+. The method is quite complicated if you don’t know the exact instructions on how to do it. You still have to trick the Nintendo Wii into installing the software but to do it effectively and quickly, you will need the help of a guide. Once you download the instructions and the software, you can mod your wii within 5-10 minutes without any difficulties.
So, now you know all the methods of how to mod your Wii. As I said before, it is always a wise idea to go with the latest in technology. Using the old techniques and methods are only going to leave you frustrated with error messages and malfunctioning. So make a wise decision and do your research well before spending money on expensive games and modchips.
