Deals of the Century $21.95 DEALS OF THE CENTURY Throughout history, mergers and acquisitions have been the major game played on Wall Street. These deals have had far-reaching effects, on the worlds of finance and industry - more than most commentators or financiers are publicly willing to admit. Deals of the Century captures this dynamic moment in history by taking an in-depth look at the most notable merger and acquisition deals of the twentieth of Carnegie Steel in 1901 to the creation of the former AOL Time Warner, renowned business historian and bestselling author Charles Geisst traces the deals that have had the most dramatic impact on the worlds of both finance and industry over the past century. Decade by decade, you'll be introduced to the personalities behind each event, as industries are built, dismantled, and reorganized by "professionals" driven mainly by the profits extracted from the deals themselves. Engaging and informative, Deals of the Century paints an exciting portrait of the incredible M&A journey and illustrates how many of these deals changed the face of business, creating a modern capitalist society that continues to grow. |

Deals on the Green $2.99 In the history of American business there have been more deals consummated on the golf course than in any boardroom or five-star restaurant. It's no accident that executives from J. D. Rockefeller to Jack Welch have made time in their busy schedules for eighteen holes. Deals on the Green takes a fresh look at the interesting worlds of golf and business. It's not a "how to win business" instructional, but it does offer lessons about what is required to succeed in golf and in business - namely friendship, imagination, tenacity, multitasking, guts, passion, and compassion. And it shares great inside stories about the leaders whose devotion to and respect for the game have contributed to their success in business. Financial journalist David Rynecki takes us inside the gates of elite courses such as Augusta National and Pebble Beach to reveal how the wealthy and powerful really behave - or misbehave. He lets us in on the keys to mixing business and pleasure, the best way to swing a nine iron in front of your boss, and even what to do if you happen to slice it. |

Should I get the Wii or Xbox360? Which is the better deal (Money + Games)?
I've been trying to decide on whether to get the Xbox 360 system or the Wii. I really can't decide, I would like to get both but I can only afford one for the moment if I want to get another computer as well. I was wonder which is the better deal, as in money and game wise. Please leave some suggestions for games too. Thanks.
Think about it. Price wise, the Wii is the winner all the way. For value, the graphics are a bit weaker than Sony or Microsoft, but Nintendo has the advantage of innovation here. This system will make you move and play. You will feel more in the game. But, on the other hand, the amount of games is lower than the others at this time. But the reverse library, holding games from NES, SNES, Genesis and N64 is growing at this minute. For a small fee, you can download some of Nintendo's greatest games ever.
The 360 does have better graphics, but the entire thing is the same as the Xbox 1. The Wii has the control shaped as a remote, and has several attachments, including the original NES control. And to give an example, in the Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, When you swing the sword, you swing the controller. Nobody can use a 'playing video games is not exercise' excuse on you then, not even yourself.
Plus, Nintendo has years of experience, and the Wii is designed for all. It is your choice, but I'd go for the Wii.

P.S.- Korn is right, suing Nintendo is idiotic, and they are just trying to get free money. TC is right also. One of the first 360 games to come out was 'Table Tennis'. Literally. Who would want that compared to a new (and fun) direction in games? Nintendo has always been better than Sony, and Microsoft is just behind either of them. Get the PS3 or the Wii, but don't touch the 360.
