The Godfather (Xbox 360) $12.99 One of the few liberties developer Electronic Arts has taken with this long-awaited game smacks you in the chops right from the start. Al Pacino's character Michael Corleone (the most important character in the movie after Don Vito Corleone) is not present. The Godfather puts you in the role of a character that did not feature in the film at all. With the packaging and all the hype surrounding the release of The Godfather, you would be wrong in believing it's all so-o-o authentic. The Xbox 360 version of The Godfather has had numerous enhancements and additions made to the gameplay. There is an enhanced BlackHand Control combat system, where you can punch, kick, grab and even choke an adversary with a stranglehold. Other exclusive enhancements made to this version of The Godfather include racket truck heists, extortions, targeting and living world gameplay. Several 360-exclusive missions and contract hits, new venues, a new family compound and much more interaction with key characters are all new additions to The Godfather for the Xbox 360. The game begins with your character witnessing his father being gunned down and murdered by rival gangsters. You are then thrust forward nine years into the future to the wedding scene from the opening of the film (at last, something familiar) where your mother is asking Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) to take you under his wing and offer you work. The Don sends his Capo, Luca Brasi to look after you and train you in the fine art of being a mobster. You are then taken to what EA call the 'Mob Face' part of the game, where you can customise how your character will look (face, hair and clothes etc.). The tools used in this section are very similar to those found in all EA Sports games. Now your character has taken shape, you begin as an unofficial enforcer for the Corleone family, which means your job is to muscle merchants into paying you protection money. Extorting businesses and taking over rackets is not all there is to the game, though. There are plenty of story missions to keep you occupied. Some missions are taken directly from the movie. You will have to drive the Don to the hospital after he is shot in the street, travel to Hollywood to re-enact the famous horse's head scene, and plant the pistol for Michael Corleone to use to kill Salazzo, to name but a few. In addition to the characters, the city of New York has been carefully rendered in detail, and you can spot specific scenes from the film as you travel the streets of Little Italy, Brooklyn, Midtown, Hell's Kitchen, and New Jersey. For the most part, the game has remained faithful to the legendary movie. Only after making a name for yourself will you move up the family ladder, starting from 'Outsider', and the game is completed when you become the Don of New York City, ruling over the other New York families (Tattaglia, Stracci, Cuneo and Barzini). |

Guitar Hero 5 - Game Only (Xbox 360) $12.99 By now, everyone knows what to expect from the latest version of the game that popularised console music games. In the extremely unlikely case that you are not familiar with the series, firstly, welcome back from what must have been a quite protracted visit to another planet, but let us explain. Guitar Hero involves playing along to popular music songs on a USB guitar peripheral that comes bundled with the game (or not, for users who already have one). You have to hit and hold notes on button on the USB guitar fretboard in time with the notes in the song. Hitting a series of notes increases your score multiplier, missing notes will drop your performance meter, and if you do it repeatedly you will get booed off stage. As you would expect, GH5 does not re-write a winning formula, but instead adds to it with new songs, and artists. This time there are 85 songs by 83 different artists, and as is typical of Guitar Hero games, several of the artists are rendered in 3D for you to play when performing their songs. These include Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana and Shirley Manson of Garbage. The big news is that GH5 features songs by Nirvana, and Kurt Cobain is also one of the 3D avatars. There is also an character editor, but 360 users can also import and use their XBox live avatar. Other improvements to the latest version of Guitar Hero mean that players can now us the drums and microphone controllers from Guitar Hero World Tour as well as the traditional guitar. They can also jump in and play without spending as long in the game's menu system. Both the single career mode and competitive multi-player modes have been enhanced. In "Party Play" mode players can jump into a band or drop out in the middle of a song. Instruments and difficulty levels can be changed mid-song. "RockFest" can be played by up to four players locally or up to eight online. Rockfest enables players to create a playlist, and play each song in one of the following modes: "Momentum" gradually increases the game difficulty, and enables players to score more points as difficult increases but will fall back in difficulty if the player miss three notes in a row. In "Streakers" mode, points are awarded for successfully hitting a sequence of consecutive notes, longer streaks iv higher scores. "Perfectionist" mode ranks players by the percentage of notes hit on each section of a song. "Do or Die" mode kicks a player out until the end of the section if they fluff three notes. "Elimination" kicks the lowest scoring player at the end of each section. "Pro Face-Off" is a straightforward score attack mode, with the highest score winning. GH5 features the Music Studio mode, which enables player to create their own songs, and share them using the GHTunes on-line service. This has been enhanced to enable users to create songs up to 10 minutes long, and upload up to 50 songs. |

Bodycount (Xbox 360) $19.99 A first-person shooter from the mind and design talents of designer Stuart Black – who was co-designer on the classic Black from 2006 - Bodycount uses the EGO Game Technology Platform from Codemasters (Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising). Bodycount sees the gamer caught up in a worldwide power struggle where they fight on behalf of the ‘Network’. As an agent of the Network the gamer has free-reign – or a Green Light – to take out enemy ‘Targets’. High up the list of gaming elements to take note of in Bodycount is Ego-driven environmental destructibility. Basically, if you you can see it, you can destroy or at least deform it. This is not only satisfying, it also creates a dynamically-changing game-play environment. Given the changing state of the play area, a good cover system is required. Bodycount’s cover system enables the player almost total flexibility to battle while still in cover. The game can be played in single-player or once online there are also multi-player online modes such as Team Deathmatch as well as co-operative game modes. Just try to make sure you're not part of someone else's bodycount! |

Mass Effect (Xbox 360) $12.99 Space is, by all accounts, a big place. And big is what you should expect from the BioWare's epic sci-fi RPG, Mass Effect. Coming from the team that brought us the likes of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire, Mass Effect promises a huge science fiction universe to explore, populated by a rich galactic culture. Players take on the role of Commander Shepard, the first and only human Spectre, entrusted with keeping law and order in the galaxy. Unfortunately, the reason you're the first and only human Spectre is that no one really trusts us fleshy humans, so when you encounter a grave danger that threatens the universe, it's going to be you that has to deal with it. The game features what's possibly the deepest and most varied conversation system ever seen in a game, and players will be able to establish Shepard as the character they want him to be. The way you handle yourself in conversation and the choices you make will affect the ultimate outcome of the game. Combat is squad-based, with you at the helm. Not only will you need to control your team, but you'll also need to handle yourself in real-time shoot 'em up combat, with close monitoring of the weapons you're using, and health and armour strength essential to winning through. If you're looking for a deep gaming experience in a galaxy far, far...well, a long way off, this might be your game. |

FIFA 11 (Xbox 360) $4.99 It's difficult to always keep adding fresh new elements to a long-standing, best-loved football game series. But EA Sports have stepped up once again for FIFA 11, adding even more gameplay tweaks and feature bonuses to make this annual update worth your while. Pro Passing gives players complete control over their player, as now a pass is only as successful as the skills of the person holding the controller. You always need to be paying attention to what's happening on the pitch, otherwise your passes can end up falling short of the mark, or being handed to the opposing team. Skill, situations on the pitch and urgency all come into play for a clean pass as well, so stay on your toes. The real difference in FIFA 11 comes in its new Personality+ system, which gives players individual abilities that are reflected in the game. Each player acts and plays differently, and it is up to you to notice those characteristics and pass wisely in order to maximise your team's potential. Over 36 attributes and 57 traits can be found within each player, and will act just like their real-life counterparts. With this, you can truly get into the game and use your team's advantages and weaknesses to your benefit. The Club (Xbox 360) $9.99 Imagine an organisation so secretive that only a handful of people across the globe know that it exists: an organisation that recruits 'outsiders' to fight in an underground bloodsport, like ancient gladiators. The combatants have only one option open to them - kill or be killed. Drug lords, Mob bosses, Dotcom billionaires, rock stars and politicians rub shoulders with Hollywood superstars, royalty and the aristocracy in The Club. Each one shares a lust for death, bloodshed and chaotic gunplay, and a belief that their wealth and power puts them above and beyond the reach of normal laws. The entry fee is astronomical and membership is for life. Once you're in the club, you can't leave…unless you manage to fight your way through eight deadly arenas and 49 levels in single-player mode or multiplayer to secure your freedom from The Club. Tournament mode invites you to compete against other members of The Club in deadly tournaments spread across the globe. Each event must be played in sequence with points awarded based on your position in the league table. You only need to survive until the end of the tournament in order to unlock the next event, but come in the top three and you will earn a bullet. During any event in Tournament, you will have a maximum of five attempts before it's 'Game Over'. Within Tournament, there is a handful of sub-modes, if you will: Sprint, Siege, Survivor, Time Attack and Run the Gauntlet are just how they're described, and add to the longevity. If you find that The Club is being a little tough on you (or you just can't handle the heat, you sissy) then Single Event is the option to choose. Here, you can practice the events you have unlocked in Tournament mode. Multiplayer is a major plus factor in The Club. Online play and System Link supports up to eight players, and four players can play on one console. As in Tournament's single-player mode, there are several game types waiting within multiplayer, such as Hunter/Hunted, Kill Match, Team Skullshots and Team Foxhunt. The Club - whichever way you play it - is all about the kill. Killing earns scores, scores mean success, and success means survival. |

Learn How to Play Copied Xbox 360 Games
The Xbox 360 was an immediate hit with gamers as soon as it entered the marketplace. As would naturally be expected, the new Xbox 360 gamers began immediately to try to find out ways to create backup copies of their games, and how to play copied Xbox 360 games on their systems. Much to their chagrin, the manufacturer's copy protection scheme was a challenge that could be overcome only by installing a modification chip, or mod chip, on the Xbox console's motherboard.
If the gamer didn't happen to be a computer geek or know an expert that would do the job, he didn't get to make backup copies. Paying a professional to do it was costly, and the process, no matter who did it, risked damage to the console itself. So, many gamers shared the experience of going without playing a favorite game that was damaged or lost, because they could not afford the cost of replacing it.
Now that the Xbox 360 systems have been around for a while, and have become widely used, software programmers have found it profitable to develop game copying software that can bypass the Xbox's copy protection and enable the gamer to make backup copies of all of his Xbox game disks without risking damage to the expensive Xbox 360 console, and voiding its manufacturer's warranty. Playing copied games on Xbox 360 systems could now become commonplace.
To serious gamers, the introduction of this new software was considered to be just short of a miracle. They no longer had to worry about the cost of replacing damaged, lost, or stolen Xbox games. They could now make high-quality and usable backups and play copied games on Xbox 360 on a regular basis, while storing the original game disks in a safe place. Backups became a great potential money saver for the day when the inevitable game disk disaster would occur.
The Xbox 360 games of today are technological marvels. The computerized animation and high resolution image quality has transformed what was once simple fun, into a breathtaking experience. The Xbox 360 games are no longer clever creations of a few computer savvy graphic artists; they are like blockbuster movies created by a team of computer, artistic, and audio experts. These games now provide a level of realism that draws you into the experience, and for this very reason, because of these marvelous technological improvements, these games now cost a bundle.
It's this high cost that has driven many gamers to find out how to play copied Xbox 360 games, and store their original expensive games to protect their investment. It's become too much of a financial burden to have to pay for a replacement game in the event of catastrophic damage.
Now that good proven high-quality game copying software is available, it's no longer necessary to go through the risk and expense of modifying your Xbox 360 system's hardware. A simple and inexpensive software application can now help you to backup all of your Xbox 360 game disks quickly and reliably with little fuss.
If you are a gamer that worries about having to replace your valuable games, eliminate those worries by acquiring a game copying software application and some blank DVD disks. Backup all of your Xbox games and eliminate those damaged game worries forever. Playing copied games on Xbox 360 systems has never been easier.
