Why does my xbox 360 controller keep losing connection?
I had bought the Game of the Year xbox 360 elite bundle less than two weeks ago, and have already had two problems. One was the fact that the Fable II that came with it didn't work, but I got it replaced. Now I have a more annoying problem, that arises mostly when I play Resident Evil 5, but happens during other games too. The wireless controller keeps losing connection to my 360. When I fire one RPG round on Resident Evil 5, it loses connection. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I've tried re-syncing it already.
I've changed the batteries twice and when I changed them the first time, they worked for awhile but now it's happening again. The little indicator on the top left when I hit the Xbox Menu button says I have 3/4 power.
I would try changing batteries and if it continues then it is your conntroller losing the current because of something jocled around in there (or if you ever spiked your controller lol like me) but if that is the case it is a make it or break it. My controller works 90 percent of the time with brand new batteries but still randomly shuts off because of my anger problem. just try to make sure when you put your batteries in to make sure they are fully snug in there against those springs tightly. hope it heps
