Xbox 360 questions, please help.?
New to Xbox360
Hi, I recently bought a Wii and hated it and put that crap up on Ebay after 2 days. Now I have decided to get an Xbox360 and have a few questions that I hope someone can answer.
Planning on buying a premium system.
1. What other accessories do I need? (Extra controller and Network adapter for sure, what else?)
2. What games are a must get?
3. What online content am I limited to if I don't get gold subscription?
4. What extra features do I get if I subscribe to gold?
5. What is the range of the network adapter because my LCD HDTV is upstairs and my router is downstairs in your basic two story house.
6. The wireless controllers, do they run on batteries or battery packs?

1. Play & Charge kit. Xbox 360 HD-DVD player. Halo 2 headset with Xbox 360 adapter. If you don't have the premium-Hard drive, wireless controller, HD-Cables. Xbox Live Vision Camera-it has some cool features.
Do not get the Nyco intercooler, it does not work, it is loud, and has been recently announced that it is screwing up the console.
2. Dead Rising, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Call of Duty 3.
Other peoples recommendations:
Fight Night Round 3, Madden NFL '06, '07, Call of Duty 2, Burnout: Revenge, NFS: Carbon, Saint's Row, Tony Hawks: Project 8.
3. Not much, every once in awhile Microsoft will release some game content that is exclusive to Gold, but only for a little while.
4. The Main difference is just online multiplayer. You will sometimes get exclusive content. You can also post messages to friends.
6. It goes a pretty long range. Mine goes about 20 feet, and I have a friend, who's goes about 45 feet.(three story house)
7. Both, it comes with one that needs batteries, but you can buy a Play & Charge kit for about $20.(Charging Cable, Rechargable Battery)
