Where To Find Kinect For Xbox 360?
One of the main questions people are going to be asking this Christmas is "Where to find Kinect?" The reason for this is that like every year there are some super-popular gifts and the Kinect is going to be that gift this year. In the past, it's been Wii, Cabbage Patch Kids, Zhu Zhu Pets, and Tickle Me Elmo.
So what is Kinect for Xbox 360 and why does everyone have to have it? Wii has had the market cornered on motion sensing for the last few years, but now Xbox has jumped in with a big difference - it doesn't use controllers, it uses cameras to sense your motion. This makes it so that it can track your arms and legs, too, so you're really almost part of the game.
Also, Kinect uses microphones to monitor what you're saying, so you can control the DVD by using voice commands. Pretty cool!
Where can I find Kinect? Good places to look are Amazon.com, Best Buy, and Ebay. Amazon sells them directly themselves for the suggested retail price, but sometimes they sell out. There are also many other stores and individuals that sell through Amazon, but you're going to pay a premium that way.
Another great place to shop for Kinect is Best Buy online. It's a good place because if you have problems with the product you can take it back to your local store. Also, you can order it online and pick it up at the store, if they have it in stock.
If you run out of other options, you can always look on Ebay. You can find most anything on Ebay, but once again, you'll probably pay a higher price than if you found it at a store.
Another option is that if you can't find the sensor bar by itself, you can buy the Xbox 360 plus Kinect Bundle, and get the console too. In fact you'll have to do this if the person you're buying for doesn't already have an Xbox.
