Motion Sports sees a set of six sports games that are aimed at getting gamers off the couch. The sports include Skiing, Soccer, American Football, Boxing: Horse Riding and Hang Gliding. Within each of the individuals disciplines, however, there is a variety of mini-games and challenges. In fact there are more than 40 challenges ranging from Super-G Slalom to taking (and saving) penalty kicks in tense shoot-outs. As this is a Kinect game there is plenty of scope for multi-player as well as single-player action. This means that more than one member of the family or group of friends can jump in and out of the games as the proceed. Scoring points in each challenge soon adds up to the gamer's profile too – and this all builds up and the progress can be tracked by each player. All of this is captured in video highlights (with commentary) by Kinect's camera and can be played back as a Sport Highlights package including that commentary. Videos of gamers in action, as well as their achievements, can also be shared online via Xbox Live. |

Track these death-worshipping humans like the animals they are through their preferred habitat – mazes of broken windows, crumbling brickwork and dilapidated tenements. Your long-developed skills as a detective and a range of precision forensic tools will help you, but you’ll have to rely just as much on split second reactions and brawling skills if you are to get out of your mission in one piece. Monolith made its name showing what could be done on games running through Windows, at a time when nobody believed in a DOS-less future for PC gaming. This technical expertise is brought to bear on the latest Microsoft confection, the 360, with lighting, texture mapping and filtering techniques employed that are like nothing you’ll have seen this generation. The first person viewpoint that Monolith favours is used, but this is still an adventure game where you execute melee moves on your quarries, as well as pick up and throw a variety of inanimate objects. SEGA Rally (Xbox 360) $9.99 The long-awaited next-gen appearance of Sega Rally is here, and it's definitely been worth the wait. The whole package of sound and vision does not disappoint, even on a non-HDTV, and Sega fans of an offroad bent (we know there are plenty of you out there) will lap up every mud-spattered, dust-blown moment. There is the usual selection of race modes available in the PS3 and 360 versions of Sega Rally: Quick Race is where you simply choose a car and track and get into the action in an instant; Championship enables you to race against others in an attempt to win three separate rally championships.
