Microsoft has been involved in gaming for a considerable time, with great games such as Age of Empires and Flight Simulator, but then the announcement came that Microsoft would be releasing their own console it was hoped that Microsoft might dominate the market, but at first the Xbox did not do too well, purely the lack of good games seemed to dent their reputation for a while.
