The War on the Shore element uses the first-person shooter gameplay familiar to gamers of Call of Duty and Battlefield. Here, however, the gamer must do their utmost in defeating enemies and capturing points on the map. This entails switching between the battlefield and overview 'Battle Command' map and controlling the fates of aircraft carriers, frigates, cruisers, destroyers, submarines and even the massive USS Missouri Battleship itself.
