Download Xbox 360 Games - Yes Or No?
If you are a gamer, more than likely you have seen many websites while cruising around web that say "download XBOX 360 games free!" While it may seem like a great deal instead of dishing out $60 per game, the old saying if it seems to good to be true, it probably is stands strong.
To start out, a majority of the websites that claim to let you download XBOX 360 games, will do your computer harm. Most of these kind of websites are just lures to get you to visit, so harmful viruses, malware, or adware can be installed onto your computer. Just because a download or torrent file is named after the game you are looking for, doesn't always mean its clean and ready to go. Many computer protection programs pick up unwanted attachments after they have been already executed. Why would you want to risk damaging your expensive desktop or laptop computer to avoid paying $60 for a video game?
In order to play a downloaded game, your XBOX 360 will need to be modified. Which means, you will have to physically open it up, make the correct modifications, and risk damaging your console. I'm sure you know it, but ill stress it again. Piracy is illegal. I won't get into details, but with just one fine you could probably purchase half the library of games available.
With all the risks associated with trying to download XBOX 360 games, its just not worth it. There are many legit ways to get the games you want to play. XBOX live offers full games for download at discount prices, and there are many stores that sell used games. Play smart.
