Bejeweled 3 (Xbox 360) $19.99 Watch out! Bejeweled is back again! Try to resist with all your might... no, too late. You’re hooked all over again. The addictive casual puzzler from PopCap returns with a vengeance, and is just as colourful as ever whilst also offering a heap of new options, gameplay modes and features to boot. Bejeweled is an insanely simple-yet-engaging twist on the ‘Match-3’ style of puzzle games. You’re presented with a grid of dazzling jewels that must be eliminated. This is done by swapping the position of two gems so that you can line up three of a kind. As chains of three or more jewels disappear from the grid, more colourful rocks start falling from the top, creating opportunities for chain combos. PopCap has gone to the trouble of improving the presentation of the game, making it look prettier and sound nicer - but that’s only the start. There are now twice the amount of game modes on offer than in the previous Bejeweled game, as well as eight different mini-games to test your skills at. Leaderboards are now available for Classic, Lightning, Poker, Butterflies, Ice Storm and Diamond Mine modes, and there are four special gems added to the grid to spice up the action - along with five elite badges to collect. |

Viva Piñata (Xbox 360) $12.99 Viva Pinata truly is a breakthrough Xbox 360 game set to appeal to the very young and the elderly young-at-heart. Indeed, it's one of those rare (Rare!) games that parents will genuinely enjoy playing with their children. It's an act of delightfully pure imagination, and for this it should be heaped with praise. The game invites you to escape to Piñata Island, where wild-roaming, living piñata animals are looking for a home. Horstachios, Fizzlybears, Fudgehogs, Mousemallows, Elephanillas and Pretztails are just a handful of the 60 species of wild piñata you will find and, hopefully, nurture in your garden. Create and customise your garden as you see fit in order to attract, tame and nurture the wild piñatas and make their experience uniquely their own. The game is all about personalisation, so you can name your piñatas, choose accessories for them to wear, decide where to plant grass and flowers, and more. It's a colourful, fully customisable world with all kinds of possibilities. ‘Viva Piñata’ gameplay is also extended through the Xbox Live, with subscribers able to connect with friends, family or other players from around the globe to trade items from their piñata paradise — everything from the smallest plant to the largest piñata. Xbox Live will also offer accessories for download into the game to personalise your piñata collections. |

Dance Evolution (Xbox 360) $12.99 DanceEvolution is an all-new concept where the game responds to real dancing, with Kinect for Xbox 360 demanding players move their body to the beat and position of their bodies against a variety of on screen markers. DanceEvolution will offer users the ultimate dance club vibe, and boasts the most realistic and exhilarating dancing experience to date. Kinect for Xbox 360 allows players to watch their actions in real time and also save two of their original routines for use as back-up dancers in the game, no controllers required. As players dance in tune to the game's music, they can also take snapshots of their favorite dance poses, save to local albums and share the fun with friends. Utilising XboxLIVE for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, players can also challenge up to four friends around the world and enhance their experience with dance sequences, theme packs and more. Featuring 30 tracks spanning club music classics, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, and Techno, DanceEvolution dancers can groove to their favorite songs. The game also offers three gameplay modes for the ultimate dance experience: Dance, Lesson, and Status. In Dance Mode, users compete to become the 'Dance Master' as they play and unlock their favorite songs and dance along with a friend. Lesson Mode offers a tutorial service, and Status Mode allows players to check their play records and review the titles they have earned. Players can also compete to determine the ultimate dancer with multiple difficulty levels including Light, Standard, Extreme and Stealth. |

F.E.A.R. (Xbox 360) $9.99 F.E.A.R. sets out its stall as belonging to the survival horror genre, in a first-person style. The title refers not to the emotion itself though, it merely alludes to it, and F.E.A.R. is the name of the elite squad of which you are a member. It stands for First Encounter Assault Reconnaissance. Clever, eh? The premise goes like this: an unknown paramilitary organisation captures an aerospace compound and takes hostages. Unlike most paramilitary groups, however, it issues no demands whatsoever. When a special forces squad is sent in to put the cheeky terrorists to the sword, however, they are all torn apart by an invisible force that attacks without warning. It is for this reason that the special F.E.A.R. team is put together. Gameplay is your usual mix of high production value FPS gameplay (sparks and smoke everywhere, sophisticated AI), with the title's horrific twists. From the outset you'll learn to expect the unexpected, and there's no hiding from the fact that you're up against a paranormal terror of some sort. Successful FPS games are all about incorporating cool stuff and there's plenty of that. You can execute any number of martial arts moves, with karate chops, jumps and scissor kicks all in your repertoire. You have access to some pretty exciting ordnance too, with handheld cannons and guns that evaporate people in your armoury. You also get a Max Payne-style slow motion ability that makes all your enemies calm down a bit so you can take your time taking them out. The Xbox 360 version of F.E.A.R. contains new levels, stunning visual effects for an intense action movie experience and unpredictable encounters with combat adaptable A.I. There will be an all-new Instant Action Mode, which is an arcade-style action filled with close quarters battles that track player progress via Xbox Live leader boards. Frenetic multiplayer support for up to 16 players is also featured. |

Shadowrun (Xbox 360) $4.99 Powerful mega corporations, skyscrapers, cutting edge weaponry and... elves, dwarves and trolls? Suffice to say, this is not your big brother's first-person shooter. In a (let's face it) bizarre twist on the Shadowrun franchise, FASA Studios has taken the classic series and transplanted it from its fantasy realm and the RPG genre into the near future and the FPS genre. Magic's been absent for the last five millennia, but in the year 2021, it makes a comeback. All of a sudden creatures of myth are crawling out of the woodwork and challenging the world order. The world is now in a bizarre arms race between advanced future tech and magic. You can play as the RNA, a global mega corporation, and seek to bring order and profit to the world. Or, if you're feeling a bit anarchistic, join the Lineage to keep magic free and running wild. In another break from tradition, Shadowrun is the first game to offer a cross-platform multiplayer option between Windows Vista and the Xbox 360. Up to 16 players can duke it out online to see which platform really is the greatest for the first-person shooter. |

Too Human (Xbox 360) $4.99 Too Human is the 2008 offering from Silicon Knights, the developer behind Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. It twins Norse mythology with cyberpunk in an epic tale of discovery. Players take on the role of Baldur, one of the Aesir, who has taken it upon himself to protect and aid humanity in an ongoing war against the machines. So it is that you embark on an action RPG quest to fight the bad stuff and rescue humanity. Silicon Knights has come up with an innovative new control scheme that uses the right analogue stick for controlling your character's direction and, rather than using the left one for camera control, uses it for deploying weapons, much as you would expect for the likes of Geometry Wars. Too Human is bound to tickle the fancy of loot collectors - there's tons of the stuff, scattered everywhere you look. Similarly, there are oodles of customisation options to get your guy looking and playing just the way you want. Also on offer is online two-player co-op. Even Gods get lonely, you know. It just goes to show that sometimes they're all Too Human. Step into the world of Too Human, the next-generation third-person epic action game from renowned Canadian developer Silicon Knights. As the cybernetic god Baldur, you are thrust into the midst of an ongoing battle that threatens the existence of mankind. An ancient machine presence has forced the god's hand. In the first part of a trilogy, Baldur is charged with defending humanity from an onslaught of monstrous war machines bent on the eradication of human life.In Too Human, players are treated to a nonstop barrage of action powered by the seamless integration of melee and ranged firearms combat and fueled by breathtaking visuals enabled by the powerful combination of Xbox 360 and the Unreal Engine 3. Battles unfold in awesome scale as players engage with vast numbers of enemies. Gamers take it to the next level by playing the entire single-player campaign in multiplayer co-op mode via Xbox LIVE or system link. |

Amped 3 (Xbox 360) $9.99 The success of the legendary 1080 Snowboarding on N64, everybody wanted a version of the new genre for their console. The belated and, if we’re honest, disappointing, sequel, 1080 Avalanche on the GameCube, didn’t get there in time to claim the crown that should have been its by birthright, though. That’s because somebody had already made a better selling snowboard series, indeed, a whole dynasty of them: Electronic Arts. There’ll be none of the usual criticism of the industry behemoth here, though. EA are regularly pilloried for derivative games and unfailing sequels, but the SSX games really are splendid, and have gone from strength to strength. They are regarded by many as the finest snowboarding games available. But not by many Xbox owner/fanboys, who’ll rarely be overheard espousing the awesomeness of anything other than their beloved Amped. The first Amped set out its stall with a huge array customisable fashion for your snowboarder. And it also included an enormous library of music to nod your trendy head to knowingly. 150 songs to be precise – famously the most ever on any videogame at the time. Amped 2 brought more of everything – more clothes, more music, and bigger mountains. Now a new Amped graces the screen of a new Xbox. Amped 3 is bigger in every way than its predecessors. The intriguing storyline follows a gang of snowboarding misfits and will take you through no less than seven mountainous environments, each more than three times larger than anything you’ve seen before in an Amped game. Each one is based on a real life resort, and being a radical sort of dude, you don’t stick to the designated runs – you’re free to roam wherever you like. You can also customise the resorts’ parks, choosing where you put rails and ramps, and you’re not limited to your board, with the opportunity to try out sleds and snowmobiles also on offer. The Amped ethos continues, too, with more than 300 tracks to listen to, and even the most beard-stroking among you will be satisfied by the revelation that every single one is taken from the catalogues of independent record labels. This is a 360 game, so expect lush graphics, and some online content – in this case an online leaderboard where you can post your high scores. Gnarly. |

The Godfather (Xbox 360) $12.99 One of the few liberties developer Electronic Arts has taken with this long-awaited game smacks you in the chops right from the start. Al Pacino's character Michael Corleone (the most important character in the movie after Don Vito Corleone) is not present. The Godfather puts you in the role of a character that did not feature in the film at all. With the packaging and all the hype surrounding the release of The Godfather, you would be wrong in believing it's all so-o-o authentic. The Xbox 360 version of The Godfather has had numerous enhancements and additions made to the gameplay. There is an enhanced BlackHand Control combat system, where you can punch, kick, grab and even choke an adversary with a stranglehold. Other exclusive enhancements made to this version of The Godfather include racket truck heists, extortions, targeting and living world gameplay. Several 360-exclusive missions and contract hits, new venues, a new family compound and much more interaction with key characters are all new additions to The Godfather for the Xbox 360. The game begins with your character witnessing his father being gunned down and murdered by rival gangsters. You are then thrust forward nine years into the future to the wedding scene from the opening of the film (at last, something familiar) where your mother is asking Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) to take you under his wing and offer you work. The Don sends his Capo, Luca Brasi to look after you and train you in the fine art of being a mobster. You are then taken to what EA call the 'Mob Face' part of the game, where you can customise how your character will look (face, hair and clothes etc.). The tools used in this section are very similar to those found in all EA Sports games. Now your character has taken shape, you begin as an unofficial enforcer for the Corleone family, which means your job is to muscle merchants into paying you protection money. Extorting businesses and taking over rackets is not all there is to the game, though. There are plenty of story missions to keep you occupied. Some missions are taken directly from the movie. You will have to drive the Don to the hospital after he is shot in the street, travel to Hollywood to re-enact the famous horse's head scene, and plant the pistol for Michael Corleone to use to kill Salazzo, to name but a few. In addition to the characters, the city of New York has been carefully rendered in detail, and you can spot specific scenes from the film as you travel the streets of Little Italy, Brooklyn, Midtown, Hell's Kitchen, and New Jersey. For the most part, the game has remained faithful to the legendary movie. Only after making a name for yourself will you move up the family ladder, starting from 'Outsider', and the game is completed when you become the Don of New York City, ruling over the other New York families (Tattaglia, Stracci, Cuneo and Barzini). |

Will my XBOX 360 Elite work without it hard drive?
I just sold the hard drive for my XBOX 360 Elite because the buyer offered me an insanely good price. Will I still be able to play games on my console now without the hard drive?
Yes you can play games without the hard drive but your account and all your saved game data will be gone for ever if you didn't back it up with a transfer cable so i would go to the shop and by a new one and recover your account and start your games from scratch again.
