Your Shape (Wii) $12.99 With all the fitness games that are on the store shelves, it can be difficult to pick the right one that suits your needs. Do you want to exercise with Yoga, or is lifting weights more your thing? A personal planner, or an analysis on dieting and outdoor tips? Your Shape is the latest game to promote an active lifestyle, but is unique in that your motions are all tracked by a special camera peripheral. The camera eliminates the need to use the Wii Balance Board or Wii Remote when performing activities. Plug it in and exercise in front of it, and the peripheral will scan your body and track your movements. This way, the game can determine if you are doing the many in-game exercises the right way and can also provide better tips in co-ordination with your workout. Select a specific muscle to work out on and Your Shape will create a bespoke exercise program that targets that area. A personal virtual trainer will talk to you as you do the routines, and will give you advice on how to perform better. Be sure to really try with your exercises - the camera never lies, and will be able to tell just how well you’re doing. Each workout ends with a list of information on their progress, including the number of calories burned and how they did according to the data the camera peripheral picked up.
