What do you think is better for young children, video games or sports?
I won't buck a trend SPORTS are clearly better for children as it promotes physical health, teaches how to play as a part of a team (this is very important as in life we are all part of teams - in work and social settings), it strengthens social skills, teaches how to loose graciously(even Tiger Woods doesn't win all the time) or sportsmanship. With a healthy body the mind can work more efficiently. Video games teach a little hand - eye coordination but it is notoriously bad for the eyes and sitting still for prolonged periods of time is bad for circulation ( not to mention posture have you seen the way children sit while playing video games?).
