April 2011 New Kinect Games
April 2011 New Kinect Games
There are two new kinect games being released in April 2011. There is the long awaited Michael Jackson – The Experience and another fun kinect game for the whole family is Carnival Games – Monkey See Monkey Do. There is also a Kinect Range Mat that is a kinect accessory that is going to become available on April 29th 2011. Both games are due for release April 12th 2011; below I have previewed these two games.
Michael Jackson – The Experience is a full performance game, you will be able to sing and dance like Michael Jackson. Ubisoft has worked closely with the Michael Jackson Estate to make sure this game is authentic Michael Jackson music and moves. This is going to be a mix of Michael's live performances and videos. With the Xbox 360 kinect version Ubisoft have introduced a player projection technology, so you are actually inside the stage and you trigger the moves, the lights and power everything. This is an advanced dance game; it is made by the same company that introduced Dance Central which is the number one kinect game on the market at present.
Whether you are a new fan or an old fan, an experienced dancer or a beginner there will be something in this game you will enjoy. You can play as an individual or with your friends. These are just some of the Michael Jackson songs included in The Experience: Bad, Beat It, Billie Jean, Black or White, Dirty Diana, Earth Song, Ghost, Rock with You, Smooth Criminal, Speed Demon, The Girl Is Mine, They Don't Care About Us, Thriller, Who Is It, Workin' Day And Night.
Carnival Games – Monkey See Monkey Do is another fun kinect game for everyone to enjoy. This is solely an Xbox 360 kinect game; you can now become an expert at playing those Carnival games like Alley Ball, Milk Bottle Throw, Shark Tank, Strength Test, Batting Cages and Wheel of Chance, dodging tornadoes in hot air balloons and taking a rocket ride to mars. Plus Ring Fling, Funnel Cake Falls, Rocket to Mars, Crash-Test Dummy, Pop Darts, Ring Fling, Shark Tank so you can see there is a variety of games for all age groups to play.
You create your own personal avatar and you have over 40 costumes, pets and designs to choose from, you could be a dragon, ninja, cowboy or a bear.
The Kinect game mat will be 55" x 78" in size and this will help you keep within the boundaries of the kinect sensor as well as protect your floors and carpets and reduce the noise level when you start getting excited with all the fun you are having playing kinect. By placing the mat centered, 4' from the XBOX 360 Kinect's camera, players can see a clear visual guide of the gaming area for a better Kinect experience.
These are the two newest kinect games will be released on April 12th 2011, so if you would like to see the Michael Jackson – The Experience or the Carnival Games video trailers or full list of features, please check out the upcoming kinect games and make sure you get my monthly newsletter and I will keep you up to date will the latest in new kinect games and specials.
