The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a Hollywood film directed David Slade. It is an American romantic film based on Stephenie Meyer's 2007 novel, ‘Eclipse'. The film is the third in the Twilight Saga film series, after Twilight in 2008 and New Moon in 2009. The cast and crew of the film remained mostly same as the previous two films barring a few changes. The film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, who reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Rachelle Lefevre, who played an evil vampire named Victoria, was replaced with Bryce Dallas Howard in ‘Eclipse' and the film has David Slader as the new director of the film. Melissa Rosenberg, who penned the scripts for the previous movies in the Twilight series, Twilight and New Moon returns as the screenwriter for this film too!

 

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is about Bella who once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between Edward and Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life. The film was released worldwide on June 30, 2010, and became the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX. It set a new record for biggest midnight opening in the United States and Canada in box office history, grossing an estimated $30 million in over 4,000 theatres. The film released in India on the 3rd of July, 2010 and opened to an overwhelming response.

 

Twilight, 2008, too was an American romantic vampire film which was directed by Catherine Hardwicke. This film was also based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer and revolved around a relationship between a human teenager, by the name of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and the subsequent efforts of Cullen and his family to keep Swan safe from a coven of evil vampires. The second in the trilogy, Twilight Saga: New Moon moved a step ahead with the story, with a few more incidents that inspire Bella to become a vampire herself. New Moon was also created by the same cast and crew.
