I don't think Sonic deserves to be either in the top or the bottom. He belongs some where in the middle. Sonic is a cool character, I have played the older SEGA games and they are fun. But not much has been released recently worth looking into. When was the last truely epic sonic game?

Mario def needs to be in the top 10. No doubt. same with Samus Aran.

Pikachu? Never really thought of him being in the top 10. But it makes sense. All those pokemon gameboy games are really awesome. I remember playing Pokemon blue version when i was like 9 or 10 years old in elementary. Changed the way I felt about video games. RPGS ARE AWESOME.

Link should never be counted out as being one of the top characters of all time. What gamer doesn't love zelda? If you don't you are missing out.

Lara croft feels a bit over rated. So does Pac man. I feel like people have moved one from those chracters/games. Can't comment on the other games.....
