HTC HD and Desire Desire get the UK release date

HTC announced that the HTC HD and Desire Desire will be released in the UK soon.

Speaking at the London launch, the Taiwanese company has confirmed that the two handsets that offer a high level of technical data and new UI Sense has been assigned a release date in the UK in mid-October 2010.

Vodafone is the first network to offer phone in the UK, based on long relationship with HTC HTC HTC Legend Magic and both hit the network exclusive.

No exclusive UK

Vodafone will start with Desire Desire and HD in all markets, although it has not only caught on these phones in the UK.

HTC Desire HD will be offered by all bar the O2 network(although HTC Executive Director Jon French suggested that may change over the next few days), and HTC will be offered by Desire For Vodafone, The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U in Great Britain.

Both come out to not more than 35 a month, according to the French, and will be free on two year contracts.
