Red Steel 2 (Wii) $9.99 What a difference a few years can make. While the first Red Steel peaked gamers interest as a Wii launch title, some argued that the actual control system was lacking. Several years on, however, the series is back with several years of Wii development experience and Nintendo's MotionPlus accessory behind it. While Red Steel 2 follows its predecessor in terms of gameplay style, it features a whole new, unrelated plot that takes place in an unrelated game world. Where the previous title took you to modern-day Tokyo on a quest to rescue your fiance, this game takes place in a fictional Western setting riddled with elements of Eastern culture and centres around a burning need for revenge. You take on the role of an unnamed Swordsman, who's one of the last surviving members of the Kusagari-clan. Most of his fellow clansmen were murdered by a rival group called the Jackals, and so you must find their leader, Payne, and take retribution. Off you trot, sword in one hand, gun in the other... Ubisoft has been referring to Red Steel 2 as a 'first person adventure'. While shooting your foes is certainly an option, the publisher says you could feasibly complete the game without firing off a single shot. There's plenty of ledge-hopping, ladder-climbing, switch-flicking and, of course, sword swinging to keep you busy. With the use of MotionPlus (the game won't work without it) Ubisoft has upped the accuracy of the mapping between your real-life movements and your on-screen sword slashes meaning that, short of getting yourself a real blade, you'll never come closer to wielding a katana! |

Red Steel 2 - Pre-Played $14.99 NOTE: The Wii MotionPlus accessory is required for gameplay. The Wii MotionPlus accessory is not included with rental or purchase of this title. The original Red Steel redefined swordplay when the Wii launched. The sequel does it again, harnessing Wii MotionPlus controls to create even more realistic swordplay. Specially designed to take full advantage of MotionPlus, Red Steel 2 takes you to a high-tech, desert metropolis where there is only one rule: be ready to fight. You'll go beyond feverish slashing with fine-tuned, precision movements. Pivot your wrist, and your sword pivots on screen. Swing in any direction, carving enemies up any way you like. And the game doesn't just factor in where you're swinging, it measures how hard. Bleed your enemies one cut at time, or finish them with powerful strokes. |

Multiplayer Game $73.28 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. A multiplayer game is a game which is played by several players. The players might be independent opponents, formed into teams or be just a single team pitted against the game. Games with many independent players are difficult to analyse formally in a gametheoretical way as the players may form coalitions. Wii multiplayer, how do you make the other remote controls work?
I'm trying to play multiplayers on several Wii games like Medal of Honor and Elebits, and also Red Steel, however I can only ever play with one remote. I can't seem to get the Wii to recognize the other remote control/nunchuck, and I've tried to press on the "1" and "2" button to synchronize it (like in Wii Sports), but it doesn't seem to register that new remote control. It works fine for Wii Sports, because when you play tennis or something, they will tell you to synch the remote so that you can play with several remotes, but for other games, how do I make the other remote controls work? (and yes, they have full batteries, I'm standing at a reasonable distance from the the Wii, and like I said, it works on Wii sports). Thanks in advance!!!
Ok, what you have to do is open up the controller in the back where you place the batteries. See that red button? Good.
now open up the front flap on the Wii console. Its the front flap where you inset your SD memory cards. See that red button? Good.
Now all you have to do is push the red button on the console, and then the red button on the controller. This will sucessfully synchronize the controller with the console. Sometimes this must be done over when using the controller on different consoles.
