PS3 Move Games
PS3 Move Games are fun, interactive games that can be played on your Playstation 3 Console. These games require the use of a webcam which is also known as the PS3 Eye. There are also 2 self illuminated motion controllers that one should buy. Most of the games can be played with one motion controller. To add more realism and interactivity to a PS3 Move Game, one should use two motion controllers when the option for it exists.
Lastly, there is what is called the Navigation Controller. It isn't required to purchase as one could use the regular dualshock controller, yet the Navigation Controller allows for better comfort in your hand and better control as it is shaped differently than the dualshock controller.
Some of the PS3 Move Games are family friendly and allow for simple play and fun at parties. Start the Party and Sports Champions are an example of games like this.
There are other games that are more for serious games that may involve concentration and strategy. Many users of Playstation 3 fit into this category. An example is a game called The Fight: Lights Out. It is a street fighting game where the PS3 Move Controllers track your hands and note how you are punching and reflects this upon the in-game character. Are you punching slow, fast, hard, or soft? Are aiming for the head, the body? Are you throwing your shots wide, high, or low?
Utilizing the PS3 Eye camera along with the PS3 Move controllers, The Fight: Lights Out game is able to reflect exactly what you are doing in your living room. This game can be played in a fun group setting but it caters more to an individual or one-on-one fighting experience.
Some games that are due to be released in 2011 that are also on the more serious side are Socom 4, Killzone 3, and Sorcery to name a few.
To be able to enjoy these games on the PS3 System, all you need at the basic level is the PS3 Eye Camera and one PS3 Move Controller.
To buy the complete setup that would cover the range of PS3 Move Games currently available as well as what may come in the future, you should get the PS3 Eye Camera, one or two (for two players) navigation controllers, two PS3 Move Controllers (the ones with the ball on top), or four PS3 Move controllers (for two players). You can then rest assured that you won't have to buy any more accessories for the PS3 Move. You'll be future-proofed.
