Deals of the Century $21.95 DEALS OF THE CENTURY Throughout history, mergers and acquisitions have been the major game played on Wall Street. These deals have had far-reaching effects, on the worlds of finance and industry - more than most commentators or financiers are publicly willing to admit. Deals of the Century captures this dynamic moment in history by taking an in-depth look at the most notable merger and acquisition deals of the twentieth of Carnegie Steel in 1901 to the creation of the former AOL Time Warner, renowned business historian and bestselling author Charles Geisst traces the deals that have had the most dramatic impact on the worlds of both finance and industry over the past century. Decade by decade, you'll be introduced to the personalities behind each event, as industries are built, dismantled, and reorganized by "professionals" driven mainly by the profits extracted from the deals themselves. Engaging and informative, Deals of the Century paints an exciting portrait of the incredible M&A journey and illustrates how many of these deals changed the face of business, creating a modern capitalist society that continues to grow. |

The Don of your family is killed, and you must take the reigns and lead your battered organization. Success breeds opportunity, so when Michael Corleone comes under investigation by a Senate Committee on Organized Crime, the Corleone Family calls upon you to reestablish its operation in New York and expand into a new territory—Miami. Build up your arsenal, build alliances, and make whatever deals you need to as you fight off attacks and strike back at your rivals. There’ll be a price on your head and a target on your back, but don’t take it personally. After all, it’s only business. |

Deals on the Green $2.99 In the history of American business there have been more deals consummated on the golf course than in any boardroom or five-star restaurant. It's no accident that executives from J. D. Rockefeller to Jack Welch have made time in their busy schedules for eighteen holes. Deals on the Green takes a fresh look at the interesting worlds of golf and business. It's not a "how to win business" instructional, but it does offer lessons about what is required to succeed in golf and in business - namely friendship, imagination, tenacity, multitasking, guts, passion, and compassion. And it shares great inside stories about the leaders whose devotion to and respect for the game have contributed to their success in business. Financial journalist David Rynecki takes us inside the gates of elite courses such as Augusta National and Pebble Beach to reveal how the wealthy and powerful really behave - or misbehave. He lets us in on the keys to mixing business and pleasure, the best way to swing a nine iron in front of your boss, and even what to do if you happen to slice it. |

Download PS3 Games: New games for 2011
You have your PS3 Console. You are looking for new games for PS3 Here is a list of the Top PS3 games for 2011. PS3 games like Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, Crysis 2 and Shift 2 Unleashed and many more. All these games were released in 2011. You will see a short description of each game as well as their release dates and their genre. They are sorted in sequence of popularity, Highest to lowest. I will also show you where you can download them.
Well here they are.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
A very holy union of puzzle game and RPG.
Genre: Puzzle Adventure
Clash of Heroes is a puzzle RPG in the Might and Magic franchise. Like Puzzle Quest before it, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes marries puzzle gameplay and role-playing elements with much success. But unlike Puzzle Quest -- a straight-up riff on Bejeweled -- Clash of Heroes doesn't ape another game's mechanics. This is a game all its own with a lot of depth and nuance to be discovered.
Clash of Heroes is a fantasy adventure about five young adults from different cultures banding together to stop demons from taking over the world. It's set in the Might & Magic universe (see: knights and wizards) but is a standalone story, so don't worry if you're unfamiliar with the series like I am.
Release Date: Apr 13, 2011
Crysis 2
Postmodern Warfare.
Genre: Shooter
Crysis 2 bears the weight of heavy expectations on its shoulders. PC gamers want a new system-crushing game to show off their hardware, and console players were promised the "best-looking game ever." In the wake of Modern Warfare's ascension, Crysis fans worried that the series' expansion to consoles would lead to a narrow, dumbed-down experience.
Thankfully, Crysis 2 sidesteps the excessive simplification of recent shooters with Nanosuited grace. It mixes destruction with beauty, and manages to deliver a more focused experience than its predecessor while retaining the building blocks of what made the original Crysis unique. Crysis 2 is the kind of game that speaks in superlatives -- and even when it stumbles, it's quick to recover, always pushing forward to another amazing moment.
Release Date: Mar 22, 2011
Shift 2 Unleashed
Racing from a new perspective.
Genre: Racing
Shift 2 Unleashed is out to scare you. Its cars scream at you with the ferocity of a drill sergeant, and they hurl you about with all the aggression of a dog that's just had a boot planted between its hind legs. Visceral doesn't even begin to cover it; driving a car in this game is a full-on sensory assault.
It's a world away from the heavy yet gentle drifts of Hot Pursuit, the last game to crawl from Need for Speed's bustling garage.Slightly Mad Studios' heritage would have you believe that this is a sim, as would the pre-release hype, but don't believe a word of it – this is as exaggerated a take on driving as any on the series.
Release Date: Mar 29,2011
Swarm
Brutally killing cute and adorable little creatures has never been so fun.
Genre: Action
I'm a big fan of downloadable games. I own something like 70 of them on my console, and I like to think that I have my finger on the pulse of what's coming down the digital pipe. But every once in awhile, something slips under my radar -- something like Swarm. When I found out I was going to be reviewing this new $15 title from Hothead Games, I had no idea what to expect. So needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I started playing and it proved to be a great deal of fun.
The concept of Swarm is simple, though it's quite difficult to master. At the beginning of each level, you're given 50 Swarmites -- little blue entities that are Swarm's version of lemmings -- which you'll have to navigate through various stages. Your control over the Swarmites is direct, meaning that you're not utilizing a third-party to give your little creatures directions (like in Pikmin), nor are you interacting with them in a more indirect manner (like in Lemmings). The controls get more complicated and nuanced the further you get through the game, though, so expect things to get complicated. You'll need to learn to manipulate your Swarmites in all manner of ways to get them to do precisely what you want. That's easy enough to understand. But this is where things get tricky.
