PS2 games on 40GB PS3?
I know that the 40GB PS3 cant play ps2 games but i installed ps2 system data on my ps3 and i wanted to know if it can play some-like gta or something.
The download "PS2 System Data (For PlayStation2 HDD titles)" from the PlayStation Store isn't for playing PS2 games on a PS3 that isn't backwards compatible. According to the description under the downloads name it "allow PlayStation2 format software requiring hard disk installation to be played on the PlayStation3 system." I don't know what games those are, since I never played a PS2 game that required an installation.
As far as playing "some-like gta or something", right now the only GTA your console will play is GTA IV, so if you don't alreday have it, go get it.
