The picture on the Samsung C630 looks very good right out of the box. Watch Avatar on Blu-Ray is simply amazing. Playing PS3 on this TV seems just as surprising and without clear entry delay. I have no chance to switch to cable HD programming is still needed, so can not comment on appearance, but still pretty good standard cable on this TV 40 inch, a solid 10.08. The vision of standard DVDs to 1080p upconverting DVD player very well done. You can see someGrit when within 3 meters or so of TV, but more than that and the picture appears crisp and clear 10.9. Blu-Ray only look phenomenal, there are no words to describe the situation really. 10/10. The TV has many video settings to tinker around the image to your taste. I actually changed the contrast and backlight down a hair on my device because it was a bit 'too good. The TV will also save picture settings for each input device.
Cons - One of the main reasons I wentC630 was the model for its ability to 120Hz. I was not sure how much better the image quality was the 120Hz compared to older models to 60Hz, I would be definitely better than cure. Now I can say that the function 120Hz LCD on the new model seems to be quite a gimmick than anything. Within the first few hours to see my new TV I turned off the 120Hz and put it back on the 60th This may be changing the Auto-Motion Plus setting in video options (default settings are to do,smooth, clear, custom and off). The 120Hz feature does indeed give a clearer picture of the almost 3-D appearance, but the effect caused by the soap opera, unfortunately, is very disturbing film. You feel like you're watching a live performance stage of a film. It's good for watching sports and other live broadcasts and events, but bad for almost everything else. Another comment I have on this TV is viewing angle. Although the picture is still unclearAngle at the widest point to get the colors a bit ', if the side ... but not washed enormous extent. Overall, the picture looks great from all angles, but probably there is a slight difference in color saturation, depending on where you come from. Full color on this TV is very good. The colors are accurate, white, white watch, blacks blacks. If I had a vulnerability analysis, which would be obtained with the shades of gray. Some shades of gray appear clear and sharp whenlooks. This is however imperceptible from normal viewing distance.
Per play - and the media Allshare features are quite nice. You can browse a flash drive plug directly into your TV and play a variety of video files, MP3, JPG with easy menu. Playing files from PC works the same way. You must download an application server, file-sharing by Samsung (called the PC Share Manager) to work for them, but it's pretty simple to build. YouJust install the application and select files and folders is possible if the Samsung TV, you watch on your computer.
Cons - I did not know this was said before the purchase of TV as the monitor, you can connect wirelessly to the PC, but since then I discovered the wireless network connection is not built into this TV. To connect the TV wirelessly to the Internet or on your PC, you need a separate wireless adapter from Samsung, which costs about at Amazon. So now I have onePurchasing another 25-foot Ethernet cable, or cough up $ 60 for the adapter.
Another problem I have with the media play function, only a limited number of files. I have a 16 GB flash drive with more than two thousand mp3 on it, but TV only the first 999 of them and the rest may not be reproduced. Also for playing music or video files, there is no shuffle function. You can download files to order a number of ways, but Samsung has a capacity of shuffle.
Pro - AudioSamsung C630 is decent but not spectacular. This is what I gather from the speakers, there is little room for many people expect these new LCDs and slimmer. I have an LCD TV that still had amazing sound quality to see out of the box. There are many preset surround-sound and an equalizer to fine-tune the sound to your liking.
Cons - For the true cinema experience with this TV, but unfortunately you have to connect to a home exteriorTheater System. Built-in speakers are adequate but certainly not at the bar for LCD. I bought a Phillips DVD Home Theater HTS3371D.F7 together with TV and sounds just spectacular extra 0.
Series-0 Samsung C630 is the best photo with the most features and functionality of 120Hz seems in comparison to other sets offer the same price range. Internet and media player features of the C630 are very practical and has this set of easy menu navigationto change with a lot of audio / visual settings. The housing of the TV very elegant and stylish. The 120Hz in my opinion seems to function using a limited and not worth the cost can be set at a 60 Hz if not obtained, while addressing the many features of the latest LCD monitors are good. Although this and most other negative comments I had not even knock that television in particular, but all the problems with LCDs in general. The only real complaint I have with the Samsung C630is that there is a separate adapter to connect to the Internet is not what the product would have believed. Some of the features that I could be picky about not offered on other TV sets in this price class. Overall, if you are willing to invest a few hundred more to make the jump to the new LCD with LED backlight, this is a high-quality TVs, you can find for the price.
The C630 has power saving features allowautomatically adjust screen brightness lighting. Although not as efficient as the newer LED TV, the C630 does not seem to be generating excessive heat.
