Cheap Equivalent to the Xbox 360 Wireless N Network Adapter?
The black network adapter is pretty darn expensive at 70-90 bucks, but I found this alternative that looks like it would work for my Linksys N Router. http://www.madcatz.com/productinfo.asp?page=249&GSProd=4712&GSCat=99&CategoryImg=Xbox_360_Accessories
Should I buy it and save around 30-40 bucks or should i stay with the pricier, Microsoft version?
It says MSRP = 79.99 but I found one for 50 dollars.
I also tried to run a long cable around my house but my mom isn't too excited about that idea. lol
I've also been currently trying to run a connection from my Vista Desktop to my Xbox (around 10 feet away), but I'm having problems with the NAT type and sometimes the DNS Server runs out on me.
I bought a 50 foot Cat 5 LAN line for $17 from my local computer repair store and ran that from my router to the Xbox 360. It's faster than the N adapter and it's a whole lot cheaper.
